The Flexible Coupling Element has been manufactured to accommodate the slight misalignment of the high speed shaft. Working under extreme pressure, the flexible element coupling enables the gearbox to drive the generator and optimise performance.
Thanks to its advanced technical features, the coupling withstands extreme and ever-changing climate conditions in order to maintain high levels of performance and avoid costly turbine downtime. Flexible in all directions, the coupling considers radial, angular and axial movement, eliminating noise and tolerating shaft misalignment and stress.
