ICP Floating Caliper Rotor Brake HAB-1-75 FB
ICP Wind manufactures reliable and cost-effective wind turbine brakes. Rotor brakes - often referred to as high-speed brakes - are designed to safely stop a wind turbine rotor in an emergency or parking operations.
HAB-1-75 FB is a hydraulically applied, spring released caliper brake with pad release springs. The pad release springs store energy when pressure is lost, driving the brake piston and engaging the disc rotor for positive stopping.
The self-aligning properties are ideal for applications where space is limited. Manufactured to work tirelessly against testing conditions to sustain efficiency levels, ensure reliability and resolve any concerns or issues that may occur to reduce turbine downtime.
